Translation memory & cache
TM and cache matches are applied free of charge and never touch your pack. Identical strings are translated once — the result is copied to all duplicates.
QA checks

Project glossary

Your POA-XXXX key from the poagent.net account panel → Settings → AI profiles → «Test connection». Word balance shows inside the app.

One button: first free matches from TM and cache, then AI from your word pack. Duplicates are merged, drafts are marked fuzzy.

The QA report lists problem strings, «Accept» stores translations in TM — and compile the binary .mo in one click.

What is PoAgent?
A .po/.pot/.mo translation editor with AI pre-translation. Manual mode (editor, translation memory, glossary, QA, search, MO compilation) is free without limits; AI translation is sold as word packs.
What is a word pack?
A one-time volume of AI translation: 100,000 words for $9.90 or 250,000 words for $19.90. Words never expire. Only successfully translated source strings are charged.
Do duplicate strings cost extra?
No. Identical strings are translated and charged once, and the finished translation is copied to all duplicates automatically. Translation memory (TM) and cache matches are free.
Can I use my own AI?
Yes. Any OpenAI-compatible API (OpenAI, DeepSeek, GLM, Groq, local models) — free, the key stays on your computer only. PoAgentAi is only needed for cloud translation from a pack.
Are my texts stored anywhere?
Source strings go only to the chosen model for translation. We never store your files or translations on the server.
Are plural forms and contexts supported?
Fully: msgctxt, msgid_plural with all forms, refs, fuzzy/c-format flags. Plural forms are edited in a dedicated editor.
How is the POA-XXXX key activated?
The key is issued in your account after registration. Paste it in Settings → License (or the PoAgentAi AI profile) — your word balance is pulled automatically.
Is there a refund?
Yes: if AI translation does not work for technical reasons, contact support — we refund the pack within 14 days.
